about me

i first noticed make up & hair and the influence it had on storytelling when i saw the making of bbc pride and prejudice and found myself drawn to a world where you are a small but significant part of creating a character and defining a look that brings a world to life.

working on the subtle make ups required for contemporary dramas to the extremes of disfiguring prosthetics for horror (and everything in between) the creative possibilities are endless and each day is an exciting challenge.

what i love most about my job is the opportunity to work alongside creative minds to discover, and realise through the artistry of hair and make up, the complexities and nuances of a character.
